Synopsis
This course explains how a smart card is manufactured. To this end, we start with the silicon (notions of semi-conductors, ingot extraction, chip manufacturing) and end with the manufacturing of cards (assembling, carding, personalization), their operation and applications.
Timetable
(A session amounts to 13/4 hours.)- Session 1
- From silicon to circuit
- Session 2
- Manufacturing of smart cards
- Session 3
- Operation and aplications
- Session 4
- Operation and aplications, study case: SIM card
